Round 3… Much smoother

I am going into part 2 of my 3rd cycle. The second cycle, as you know, did not go so well. Fortunately, most all the side effects that I was having have gone away. I sill get itchy in the sun, but overall it is MUCH better. I’ve become that girl that wears jeans and a long sleeve shirt when it is 100 degrees outside. To be honest, at this point I would rather sweat my ass off than itch. Call me crazy, but if anyone reading this has ever had poison ivy, or sun positioning or any other ailment that makes you want to rip your skin off, you know what I am talking about.

I got the rest of my blood work back and everything still looks ok. All my labs were normal. Always a big relief to hear. When they start to get out of whack, something has to change. Not sure exactly what it would be…but something would definitely change and I cannot imagine it would be for the better. So, I thank God for that blessing. I actually thank God for a lot of blessings.

So, I am attempting to get back to work. This week, I went back at 30 hours and I’ve napped twice. It’s been great being home when Anson gets out of school. I will definitely continue to cherish these memories.

I will be returning to the MD on Tuesday. I have to go every 3 weeks until we get my dosing right. No scans until October. Until then, I eat right, rest, enjoy my family and friends and pray. Pray long and hard.

Love to you all.
Foo

  2. Hey Trace, another uncle chiming in. Aunt Linda, Mike, Melissa and I as well as all in laws are praying hard for you. I am in the same boat as to the sun and wear the SPF shirts and always have the sun block lotion on, it is a pain but better than the consequences if I don’t. Say hey to Ed and Anson and we hope to get down south and see you soon.
    Love You, Uncle Mike
