One hump down, several to go

So I completed 2 weeks of chemo. Yea!!! I have to say it was pretty uneventful. I kept waiting to hit the wall, but I think I hurdled it this time. I did get a skin rash from the sun, regardless of my Attempts to protect my skin. My pain is less. There are still some weird things that happen to me, but for the most part, I feel great.

I am trying to re-invent how to live now, which is much harder than you’d think. I am so thankful for waking up each day without pain or crazy side effects from meds. I take time to thank God everyday for this. I am so grateful for every day. I will keep you posted on how I am doing. I do not go back to the md until the 21st for more shots, labs and whatever else is needed then. Thank you all for the prayers and cards and comments. I could not be more blessed by the support system I have amongst family and friends.

Love to you all.
