The Plan

So I met with my doc on Thursday and now officially have a plan. I am to spend the next two weeks resting and healing from surgery and my gigantic hematoma ( those things really hurt). I feel like I am walking around with a bowling ball in my belly. Each day is getting a little easier and I hope to feel a lot better over the course of the next few weeks. After that, I will begin an oral chemo for as long as my body can take it. Sounds fun, right? The upside is that I will not loose my hair (for now) and that I will be able to conveniently take it from home. Always looking for silver linings. Here is to a speedy recovery and getting my mojo back. As my md said, this is an endurance race, not a sprint.
