Well-  I am finishing up radiation tomorrow. This week has been pretty simple. They literally radiate the area 1 minute. So my total in and out time today was 6 minutes. Mind you, there was a little more than an hour commute back and forth to the hospital. Unfortunately, I cannot really feel a change in the rib pain. The doc said today that I should start to feel the pain decrease next week and that the radiation could continue to work for 4 weeks post treatment. Pretty nuts. I remain hopeful that the pain will dissipate soon.

Also- I found out yesterday that my ridiculously expensive drug was approved. Great news!! I was pretty worried about that one. I spoke to the pharmacist yesterday and it is actually a chemo drug. There will probably be some side effects from that one that will not be pleasant, but I will remain positive that it will kick a little cancer ass for me-  so I will deal with it. I will not start that drug until after vacation. One more week of almost feeling normal.
