Well – I am pretty sure this is my record for shortest time between blogs. And….your welcome:) Seriously. I always think of doing it –I just don’t. But this time – I am rebounding with a blog within 14 days. Watch out!
Wanted to fill everyone in on my recent scans. I had a bone scan and a CT scan on Monday. Found out on Tuesday that everything continues to look stable. My doctor actually pulled up the scans and showed Ed and I my cancer. It was kind of weird– yet really cool. According to her spread sheet – they were decreasing a little bit each time. According to the radiologist that read them – not so much. Apparently every time the CT is read, it is by a different doctor who focuses their attention on different things – which makes it really hard for consistency sake to know if they are all talking about the same spots. My doctor follows 2 of the several spots on my liver and they all are stable or better. The other spots are not measured, but considered stable. The bone scan is done because of the clinical trial that I am in and according to everyone I have talked to – they are really hard to read because if there is healing – it is almost impossible to differentiate with cancer. They really are looking for new places that are showing up in my bones. And as of this week – we are holding steady. I will take that all day long.
Thank you all for the prayers, letters and encouraging words. I really cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me. I am going to continue to fight like a champ and try to better myself everyday. I look high to the heavens for healing and right here in front of me for encouragement. Thanks for being so awesome!
Love to all.
Tracey
