Numb

Quick update for everyone.  I went to the MD yesterday and had my CT scans along with a thorough appointment and blood work.  Overall – the results were fine.  The tumors I have continue to appear stable for the most part.  The blood work is stable – for the most part.  The checkup did not turn up anything troubling.  The down side is that no one can figure out where my pain is coming from.  In order to figure that out, they have ordered more scans.  I am having a bone scan on Friday.  We will have to come up with a plan once we get the results from that.  Even if it is negative for any more bone mets – we will still need to pursue some answers and possibly look in a few other areas.  There are about 13 different scenarios for the outcome of each test.  As much as I would love to sit here and type each scenario for the next hour – I don’t see it happening:)  I’ll just update you as I go along.

So- long story (about 5 hours in the hospital yesterday long) short is that there were good things that came out of the day and potentially bad things that came out of the day.  In my mind set is that is 1 (+) and 1 (-), therefore, I remain numb.  I am not going to stress until I have to and if and when that happens – I will deal with it and let you all know.  As of now – the chin is up, the attitude is positive and I continue to march on retaliating on any and all cancer in me.

I hope everyone who reads this is well and gearing up for a nice summer.  Love every second of it.  It will be gone before you know it.

Much love,

T

  2. Dear T
You continue to be amazing in my eyes. I don’t think I could go through what you have and keep the same attitude. You will go down in my career as an MDS Coordinator as being the only Therapy Director that can make PPS and Med A meetings fun/funny. I am going to miss that so much.
I know you have to do what you need to do to fight this so it is easy for me to let you go and pray for your total recovery and speedy return to work!!! ( please hurry). Love you! LuLu

  3. We are with you every day in this fight! Chin up and positive thoughts all the time. You have our hearts and all our love
